Raw Emotions

Today is Free Flow Friday.

Just two days ago, on a day which is dubbed the most “romantic” day of the year…a disturbed young man entered Marjory Stoneman Douglas  High School in Parkland, Florida successfully killing 17 young victims and injuring many more.

How does this even happen? And why?

If you have not heard about this horrific tragedy, please take a moment to get informed.

It is sad to know that this type of killing has happened once again. Each time this occurs, it’s agreed that something needs done…but still…NOTHING is done.

Tears flow on this Friday, as the funerals and memorials begin.

I also want to take this time to offer my heartfelt love to those who are in anguish over the most recent shooting with at least 17 killed at a high school in Parkland, Florida. I can’t even imagine the grief they may be going through. May God be with the them and comfort them as they go through this horrific loss. ~ Laura

With many mourning with so many emotions, my heart can not think of any other word thanraw’.

Please pray for all those who are grieving and that questions can be answered to this on going epidemic of violence.

I See The Angst…

Hello Fellow Bloggers,

It’s time for Free Flow Friday. Hope you’ve had a great week.

I can’t help but watch the news and see the anger, anxiety, disappointment, frustration and negativity written on people’s faces. The world is in so much turmoil and angst.

For some people, angst may be that place in life between where they are and where they really want to be but can not seem to reach their destination.

Then again, angst may be that feeling which is entwined within barbed wire that tangles all their emotions of which they can’t escape.

Please share your thoughts on the word angst.” I look forward to seeing your interpretation of this.

Captive

Hello Fellow Bloggers,

It’s Friday again. Hope you have been having a great week of writing. But if not, what’s holding you back?

Are your thoughts held ‘captive’? Are the words not flowing? Many things can hold us back from being our best at writing.

We can be held captive by many things…our past, expectations from others, rejection, depression, fear of failure, withholding forgiveness…and the list goes on.

Our negative perspective on life comes from what holds us back; or what cages us.

If your thoughts are held captive, write your way out.

On the other hand, have you ever been captivated by a good book? song? or natures beautiful view?

What are your thoughts on the photo or the word ‘captive‘?  Please share. I look forward to seeing your interpretation of this.

Temporary Fog

Hello Fellow Bloggers,

It’s hard to believe I’ve not posted since March 2017. I’m so sorry. Please forgive. Free Flow Friday is back and I appreciate the new followers. I hope you bring a new perspective to this site.

Sometimes our journey through life has a foggy perception with many uncertainties and unanswered questions.  Sometimes it seems like a never-ending maze with a periwinkle haze. You know…that haze that temporarily obstructs your vision of what’s ahead and what to do…

That is where I’ve been. Life has taken some twists and turns in 2017. Caught up in a fog and your only option is to ride it out. With the new year upon us, I can honestly say the fog has lifted.

What are your thoughts on the photo or the word ‘haze/fog?’  Please share. I look forward to seeing your interpretation of this.

Feel free to use the photo or edit the color as needed.

Faceless-Alias

Hello Everyone,

It’s a FREE FLOW FRIDAY and here is today’s prompt. FACELESS  or ALIAS

Sometimes, we can feel insecure and somewhat alone…even in a room of a thousand souls. We are just a faceless alias because our hearts and thoughts are elsewhere.

As she looked up to the pale, faceless sky…she instantly saw herself looking back.~

…faceless, much like an alias…in a world of looking eyes.~

What’s your take on these prompts?  Use these or create your own. I’m anxious to read your posts on today’s Free Flow Friday.
