Follow You-Follow Me

Hi Guys,

What I want to do today is share our blog links and any other social links you might want to get out there. Why? Because community is important.

Community is all about reciprocation.

Connecting with fellow bloggers shouldn’t be about you but rather about Them! “Likes” are good but getting involved is even better. Answer a question. Make a comment.

Community is all about transparency.

Once you have posted and connected, don’t run and hide. Make yourself visible. If someone comments on your blog, respond back. Even if it takes a while, get personally connected and let them know you appreciate their participation.

Community is all about being real.

Whatever your niche may be…Food, Fashion, Photography, Poetry, or possibly the Journal Writer; just be real. Write about what you know. And write with passion.

WHAT’S IN IT FOR YOU?

Don’t worry about that. Just write with passion and see the results.

SO, IF YOU ArE INTERESTED IN CONNECTING WITH OTHERS…YOU KNOW WHAT TO DO. JUST SHARE YOUR LINKS AND THEN START CONNECTING WITH OTHERS.

Can’t wait to Link-Up!

Let’s Connect

Every Friday, a quote, image, music clip, word or writing prompt will be posted. Use these as a way to unblock and enhance your creative thinking skills.

There are no rules. Find your right moment in the day or week to write with little to no distractions. Use a pen, pencil, keyboard or whatever fits the mood and just write. WRITE. WRITE. WRITE. I prefer pen, (blue ink) rather than my computer. My thoughts seem to flow faster when my pen hits the page.

Express all those buried, unconscious thoughts within the deepest part of your mind. You may use the timer provided below as you write. But whatever you do, don’t stop until the time is up. Keep the flow going. Do this as often as you choose. The more you write the more you unlock the block. Once you feel you have a creative flow, take something from your writing and turn it into your own masterpiece.

This event will occur every Friday, so check back for the weekly prompt.
If you have used a prompt and posted on your blog, link back to this page.

Once you’ve published your post, you can leave a link to your post in the comments section of that particular prompt used.

Please don’t post and run. Be sure to stick around to support others with positive feedback.

Your comments, suggestions and questions are welcomed. Please remember to be respectful with your words to keep the positive flowing

Free Writing Timer

Free Writing Exercise: Use a timer (for at least 1 minute) and write whatever comes to mind. ( any random thoughts) JUST WRITE! When the timer is up, go back and look at what was written. Circle or highlight the first words/sentences that pop out. Use these for ideas for future posts.

Photo Writing Prompt:  The photo is a shot I took while traveling. The beauty of the blue sky in the background connected with me as I noticed the power lines stretching out in distance.  In the digital era in which we live, there are so many ways to connect with each other. Social media is just a click away. We learn and understand through connections, especially those that are familiar to us. Succeeding in business is all about connections. Just as the power lines connect us to each other and the world around us,  so it is with just a simple “hello.” Communication is the key to human connection.

Now it’s your turn!

Let your words freely flow about any or all of the thoughts listed above. Use any words or phrases from the Free Writing Exercise or write about what the words Connect/Connection mean to you.  You are more than welcome to use this photo, if you choose.

Please Share: If you have used  Let’s Connect  to write for your own blog, please remember to share your link here, with your finished post. Don’t forget to check out fellow bloggers. Share the comments and positive feedback. 🙂

Free Flow Suggestions: Please feel free to share your views/suggestions you may have for a few prompts or free writing exercises. Keep the positive flow…
