Faceless-Alias

Hello Everyone,

It’s a FREE FLOW FRIDAY and here is today’s prompt. FACELESS  or ALIAS

Sometimes, we can feel insecure and somewhat alone…even in a room of a thousand souls. We are just a faceless alias because our hearts and thoughts are elsewhere.

As she looked up to the pale, faceless sky…she instantly saw herself looking back.~

…faceless, much like an alias…in a world of looking eyes.~

Follow You-Follow Me

Hi Guys,

What I want to do today is share our blog links and any other social links you might want to get out there. Why? Because community is important.

Community is all about reciprocation.

Connecting with fellow bloggers shouldn’t be about you but rather about Them! “Likes” are good but getting involved is even better. Answer a question. Make a comment.

Community is all about transparency.

Once you have posted and connected, don’t run and hide. Make yourself visible. If someone comments on your blog, respond back. Even if it takes a while, get personally connected and let them know you appreciate their participation.

Community is all about being real.

Whatever your niche may be…Food, Fashion, Photography, Poetry, or possibly the Journal Writer; just be real. Write about what you know. And write with passion.

WHAT’S IN IT FOR YOU?

Don’t worry about that. Just write with passion and see the results.

SO, IF YOU ArE INTERESTED IN CONNECTING WITH OTHERS…YOU KNOW WHAT TO DO. JUST SHARE YOUR LINKS AND THEN START CONNECTING WITH OTHERS.

Can’t wait to Link-Up!

Undecided?

Hello Everyone,

I realize it’s not Friday, but considering that I’ve been so late and far behind on this blog…thought I would post on Wednesday…you know…2 steps forward 1 step back. LOL

Hope you enjoy this one.

…and much like the sky, we can sometimes be undecided…

Photo Writing Prompt:  Sometimes in life, we can face moments when we just wish we didn’t have to decide. Decisions can be tough, unclear and unsettling.

Much like the sky and the beauty of its surrounding elements,  being undecided reveals an unfinished story. And sometimes, the most obvious of answers are the hardest ones to see.

one eye open.one eye shut.

Hi Everyone,

It’s Free Flow Friday.

Today’s Prompt: one eye open. one eye shut.

Every Friday, a quote, image, music clip, word or writing prompt will be posted. Use these as a way to unblock and enhance your creative thinking skills.

There are no rules. Find your right moment in the day or week to write with little to no distractions. Use a pen, pencil, keyboard or whatever fits the mood and just write. WRITE. WRITE. WRITE. I prefer pen, (blue ink) rather than my computer. My thoughts seem to flow faster when my pen hits the page.

Express all those buried, unconscious thoughts within the deepest part of your mind. You may use the timer provided below as you write. But whatever you do, don’t stop until the time is up. Keep the flow going. Do this as often as you choose. The more you write the more you unlock the block. Once you feel you have a creative flow, take something from your writing and turn it into your own masterpiece.

This photo was taken along a street in the city of Richmond, Va. Many of the streets and alleys are painted with beautiful street art and graffiti. I’m always impressed with the true expression of what the artist is trying to convey.

Art does not reproduce what we see,

rather, it makes us see. ~Paul Klee

Photo Writing Prompt: one eye open. one eye shut: We have all had our moments where we have put one, if not both hands, over our eyes for some reason. Some moments may be negative and others, positive. Please tell us what this photo says to you. Feel free to use the photo.

Free Writing Timer

Free Writing Exercise: Focus on the photo/Use a timer (for at least 1 minute) and write whatever comes to mind. ( any random thoughts) JUST WRITE! When the timer is up, go back and look at what was written. Circle or highlight the first words/sentences that pop out. Use these for ideas for future posts.

I Got The Music In ME…

Hi Everyone,

It’s Free Flow Friday and  today’s prompt is a music clip.

If you were to ask me why I like music so much…I would have to say,

Music unlocks the Laura in me.

To stop the flow of music

would be like silencing my mind.

There’s nothing like a good song to express that very thought, feeling or moment in time. So, todays Free Flow Friday is all about the music.

The link below is a song that I have added to my Spotify playlist.

It picks me up. It makes me smile. It moves me.  Check it out!

CAN’T STOP THE FEELING

Now it’s your turn. Post a favorite song or lyric. Share your thoughts on music. Tell me what makes you move.

Thanks to all those who have participated in the past. I really appreciate your contribution on Free Flow Friday.
